Film Production

 Lexington Film . . .

. . . is a small production company with a few good friends.

Here are some of them:

C. Tad Devlin, executive producer of Immigrant Garden, George of the Jungle, Sleeping With The Enemy, When A Man Loves A Woman, and Mighty Ducks 3);
Angela Johnson, new motion picture discovery and star of Immigrant Garden;
Caroline Wood, author of the AWARD-WINNING stage play Immigrant Garden and co-writer (with Devlin) of the AWARD-WINNING motion picture by the same name;
Gregg Campbell, director of photography for the Immigrant Garden.  Did I mention that Immigrant Garden won awards?

"Tad, Angela and Caroline, through their trust and encouragement, gave Lexington Film the opportunity to work closely with them, making Immigrant Garden our first feature film.  Sharing the spotlight with them at Disney Studio, Los Angeles where the film was previewed was a great honor for us." -  J. Omar Daggy

We returned from the Disney preview in L.A. to learn that Immigrant Garden had taken top honors at the A.C.E.T International Film Festival in Dallas, Texas.

Steven Barnes   His newest Best-Selling Novel, STAR WARS - THE CESTUS DECEPTION, authored for LUCASFILM and BANTAM BOOKS, had already set sales records as a best seller, a week before it was released.

Steven's teleplay A STITCH IN TIME, garnered an EMMY AWARD for Best Actor for the OUTER LIMITS television series.  His groundbreaking alternate history LION'S BLOOD, and the sequel, ZULU HEART created an alternative world where Africans Colonized the Americas.  Steven Barnes is a prolific writer, author of many novels, teleplays, short stories, articles, and even some BATMAN comic books.

Lexington Film was honored when Steven Barnes chose us to produce LIFEWRITING - WITH STEVEN BARNES, video based on ideas and concepts Barnes developed while teaching in the UCLA writers extension program.  Novelist, lecturer, screen writer, film maker and teacher, Steven Barnes has recently been featured on ABC WORLD NEWS TONIGHT, in the NEW YORK TIMES., and has just returned from a lecture series at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C.

Shooting STEVAN PLINCK'S SERAK SERIES gave Adam Daggy and J. Omar Daggy another chance to work with Gregg Campbell (Director of Photography of the AWARD-WINNING movie IMMIGRANT GARDEN) and legendary cameraman Bruce Norris.

THE SANDBAGGERS  A bunch of ne'er-do-well schemers and misfits, "just trying to make a buck," or truly gifted individuals.  Their video productions leave no doubt.

Whether they're terrorizing dignitaries like Gregory Peck, Fran Tarkenton or, well, you may be next, or just pretending to be normal, The SANDBAGGERS are the group to watch (out for).  Their exploits are chronicled in Lexington Film's much talked about and sought after (mostly by law enforcement agencies) SANDBAGGER NEWS TEAM videos, starring Roland Richards, Professor William Putaansuu, Meiko Mitchell, Ken Plampin, Kurt Anagnostou, Don Cianci, Dave Spurgeon, Dwain Buck, J. Omar Daggy, Adam J. Daggy and all the others others.

"And what good friends these are to have."
