The Immigrant
Garden
Lexington Film is proud to work with
Northwest Film Projects and Clearview Northwest, both C. Tad
Devlin companies, to produce the AWARD-WINNING,
feature motion picture, THE IMMIGRANT GARDEN.
Devlin came to this project following a string of major Hollywood successes as
Executive Producer of SLEEPING WITH THE ENEMY,
starring JULIA ROBERTS, WHEN A MAN LOVES A
WOMAN, starring MEG RYAN and ANDY
GARCIA, Disney's - MIGHTY DUCKS
III, starring EMILIO ESTEVEZ, and
Disney's - GEORGE OF THE JUNGLE,
starring BRENDAN FRASER.
THE IMMIGRANT
GARDEN is the story of 17 year old Cecily Barnes, played by new
discovery ANGELA JOHNSON, who must come to grips with who she
is and what it means to be a young woman in the early 1900s. Accomplished
Broadway actress BEVERLY FITE plays Mrs. Louise Beauchamp,
whose gentle heart and sage advice guide Cecily, in a story that is part Louisa
May Alcott and part Mark Twain. Written by Caroline Wood,
based on her AWARD-WINNING off Broadway play, the movie version
went on to win one of the oldest international film festivals.
How did Devlin
and Wood and the others get together to make this film? Think part
Bowfinger, part The
Producers, and part Shakespeare In Love.
After a preview screening for industry insiders at DISNEY
STUDIOS, Los Angeles, THE IMMIGRANT
GARDEN, went on to take top honors at A.E.C.T. international film
festival, one of the oldest events of its kind in the world. Boasting 430
entries from six foreign countries, representing the combined creative work of
3,675 filmmakers, the festival is also one of the largest of its kind in the
world. Now we all can say "AWARD-WINNING" on our
resumes.
B-17
Lexington
Film's second project with C. Tad
Devlin, B-17, is the story of
Boeing's incomparable World War II military
aircraft and the brave pilots who flew her. Principal photography is
complete but there is still much work to do.
